2011 Prototype Mini Maguroni

Just wanted to announce that we are currently in the process of designing a new version of the Maguroni lure.

The 2011 v2 prototype inherits some of the current lures features.  The prototype will have similar body style with a higher profile stabilizer fin.

Length will be shorter but the lure weight is increased.   Stay tuned for more information on the 2011 prototype Maguroni (miniMag)

Re-enforcment through-wire improvement

We have recently improved the durability of the lure by adding additional re-enforcements on the through-wire.  This re-enforcement prevents the cavity from splitting after 8-15 fish caught.  The re-enforcement has been tested with great results (2    60hr tuna trips).   Since the re-enforcements were put in, we have not had any recalls or reports of this issue.

If you have any issues with the cavity fracture pre re-enforced models, please contact info@maguroni.com.  We will be happy to replace it with a re-enforced model.
