Rigging the Maguroni for optimal performance
We’ve been getting alot of inquiries about how/what to rigg the maguroni with. Below are the details and a photo of it rigged up. We find that this improves the lure’s swimming action both when casting/retrieving and also trolling.
- Green lure has Size #1 330lb Spro power swivel, Size #7 185lb Spro split rings and 6/0 Decoy Sergeant single hooks.
- Blue lure has Size #2 230lb Spro power swivel, Size #8 120lb Owners split rings and 6/0 Decoy Sergeant single hooks. (This is what I personally use for superior swimming action.)
